Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

For 2015-16, the premium was worth £28,050 and went to pupils who were on Free School Meals or had been registered for Free School Meals at anytime over the past six years.

Catch-Up Premium

The Catch-Up Premium is a government grant that is given to all secondary schools.  The amount that each school receives is calculated according to the number of pupils who enter 1st Form (Year 7) below a level 4 in Reading and/or Maths.  In 2015-16, the premium was worth £7,000.
